Information Collection and Use

“Personally identifiable information” or “personal information” refers to any information that identifies or can be used to contact or locate you such as name, mailing or physical address, phone number, email address, social security number, and account number. Use of certain features and tools on the SigmaPay web site requires that you provide us with personally identifiable information. However, you always have the option not to provide personal information by choosing not to use a particular feature.

To use SigmaPay services, such as the Make A Payment and View Account History functions, we may require a certain amount of personally identifiable information from you such as name, address, email address, Account number, and type of request. This will allow us to provide services to you on behalf of your Client, such as processing a payment.

You may decide to authorize SigmaPay, on behalf of your Client, to automatically withdraw scheduled payments from your bank checking or savings account or take scheduled payments from a specific credit card. In order to enroll, you may be required to provide personally identifiable information such as your account number, the last four digits of your social security number, your credit card number, your bank’s name and routing number, and your bank account type (checking or savings) and account number. You can also change or update your payment information by clicking on “Payment Methods” on the SigmaPay menu.

We may also gather and store certain anonymous information about your visit, including the name of your Internet Service Provider, the type of browser and operating systems used to access our site, the website that referred you to us, and the pages you visit (click-through). This information, which does not identify you personally, is used to measure site activity and improve the usefulness of our site.

Information Sharing

We may disclose to your Client information that we collect about the transactions you are managing through SigmaPay. This may include account balance and payment history information about present and former customers. If you participate in Make A Payment, Recurring, or Scheduled Future Payments, the account payment services that we provide on behalf of the clients and related finance companies that are our clients, we will be required to validate your credit card information or bank account information with your bank. We may also share information about you with third-party service providers, such as companies who assist us in conducting surveys and research to help us provide better products and services. We do not share your personally identifiable information with any other third party for that third party’s independent use. We may disclose personally identifiable information as permitted or required by law.

Online Tracking

We do not engage in the collection of personally identifiable information about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across third party Web sites or online services. As a result, we do not listen for or respond to Web browser “do not track” signals or other mechanism that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding such collection. Further, we do not allow third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different Web sites when you use our site.

Security

Sigma has reasonable security measures in place to protect your personally identifiable information. This information is protected while being transmitted through a Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) connection. Most web pages that display personally identifiable information are encrypted using 128-bit SSL, which is an industry standard. In addition, we have security procedures and policies in place to safeguard against loss, theft, unauthorized access, destruction, misuse, and modification of this information after we receive it. Also, we limit access to information about you to our employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you and to service your account on behalf of your Client. However, perfect security does not exist over the internet, and Sigma Solutions is not responsible for any damages or liabilities relating to Internet security failures. You can help protect your personally identifiable information by selecting the "Log Out" icon before you close your browser.
